hi there!

I’m Mary Anna, the founder of Mary Anna Makes.

I am a Greenville, SC based creative, crafter, maker, writer, and all around serial hobbyist. I have a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Education and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing (specializing in poetry), but I currently work full time as the Supervisor of a Spa!

I have always loved creating things for all of my family and friends and I am so excited to start making for anyone reading this! I am neurodivergent (ADHD af) and subscribe to the mindset that I can figure out how to do pretty much anything, so if you have any idea big or small don’t hesitate to ask!

Now for some fun facts:

  • I am a published poet

  • I am a trained singer and used to sing in operas and touring choirs, and will be singing with the Greenville Chorale this season!

  • I am a Disney Parks girlie at heart

  • Though I do love poetry and classic lit, cheesy romance novels are my go to read

  • I watch more YouTube and Twitch streams than I do TV or movies

  • I LOVE the Fall and Winter and would much rather be hot than cold
